Water Loss Reduction Performance Based Contract in Accra East Region

The project aims to reduce water losses in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area by 23,000m³/day by December 2024 and thereafter maintain economic waer loss levels. This will be achieved by establishing DMAs, leak detection activities and leak repair in the project regions . In addition, training and knowledge transfer as well as the supply of equipment to the Ghana Water Company will be instrumental in achieving the goal of maintaining acceptable water loss levels.
