The pressure logger SEWAD30 is a high precision, microprocessor-controlled manometer with digital display combined with a comprehensive data acquisition system. The device is operated over a cable interface from our proprietary software. The pushbutton on the SEWAD30 is only for switching the device on and off.
Housing: The anodized aluminium or stainless steel manometer housing is water-tight. Models are available for mounting directly onto above-ground or underground hydrants.
Internal Software: The heart of the manometer is a signal processor with a programmable analogue-to-digital converter. An EPROM keeps all sensor and device-specific data intact even in the event of a power failure.
Recording modes: Periodical recording at intervals of 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 seconds or 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60 or 90 minutes, with user-defined start and stop times. Each recording consists of a measured pressure value (instantaneous, maximum, minimum or average) and time and date stamp.
Storage capacity: Approx. 28,000 or 56,000 storage spaces (depending on saving interval). Records can be kept for long durations until expiry of the battery.
Pressure measuring range: Pressure measuring range is 0–30 bar with 10 mbar resolution and +-0.2% accuracy of the measured value. Models with measuring ranges of up to 200 bar are available on request.
Display: Current measured value, units, time, last saved measurement, plus relevant operating parameters are visible on an LCD screen.
Programming and readout: The logger is programmed and read out from a conventional PC over a serial interface (using supplied cable). The supplied communication software presents the measured results in tabular and graphical form. The data can be directly edited in Microsoft Excel, or edited in other programs after readout.
Power supply: Power is supplied by a 3.6 V lithium battery with a lifespan of approx. 1 year in continuous operation. The replacement of the battery is easy and requires no special skills.
