Consultancy Services for the Water and Wastewater Services for Syrian Refugees and Host Communities – Phase VII/VIII
Located in the northern Governorates of Ajloun, Irbid, Jerashand Mafraq, serving a population of 3.3 million inhabitants, 10,500km water network.
The design of the project phases is based on priorities identified in the Jordan Response Plan for the Syria Crisis.
The Phase VII/VII comprises investments of
- EUR 36 million in the rehabilitation and extension of the primary and secondary water system, reservoirs and pumping stations
- EUR 2 million for rehabilitation / replacement of wells, incl. CCTV, step-test and water quality analysis
- EUR 12 million will be invested in sewer system rehabilitation /extension
- EUR 5 million are reserved for assistance to vulnerable households
- EUR 1 million for spare parts to ensure sustainability of the investments
