Installation of a nationwide GIS system for 12 regions (total population 22 million).
Activities:
- Delivery and installation: hardware and software for GIS and hydraulic modelling; leak detection and flow meters; water meters.
- GIS training for the staff of the regional offices.
- Hydraulic modelling and calibration measurements, training.
- Training "Leak detection": on-the-job training with the equipment purchased within the project.
- Development of an action plan to reduce NRW in Accra.
